Rena is very sweet, reliable, and loyal. She's generally friendly, and is a very good cook. She loves to help people out. She also has an affinity for anything cute, screaming, "HAUUU~! I WANNA TAKE IT HOME!!" when she sees it. Once she sees something cute, it's hard for her to focus on anything else.
She believes heavily in the God of her village, Oyashiro-sama. Her beliefs are not based around religion or such, but based on fact. Oyashiro-sama punishes those who try to betray him, breaking the rules of the village. For Rena, it was trying to move to another city. Rena still has scars on her wrists, which she hides with wristbands, from the last time she dealt with Oyashiro-sama. Because of this, Rena is constantly paranoid about what might happen to her while she's in Lumiere.
Rena also has times in which her paranoia will take over and cause her to act a little...strange. In times like this, she has a habit of talking in the third person, focusing on other people's wrongdoing, and talk frequently of Oyashiro-sama. Rena is not the cute little girl you want to meet in a dark alley.
